Crisis Response
Network, Inc. works with the following community partners on
projects of mutual interest.
Adult Consumers and Parent and Family
Organizations
The Crisis Response Network, Inc. has partnered with consumer
groups and parent and family organizations in Maricopa County on
several recent initiatives, including a proposal to provide
Crisis Transition Navigator services to residents of Maricopa
County. If funded, the service will provide assistance to
Non-Title XIX/Non-Seriously Mentally Ill adults in resolving
their immediate behavioral health crisis, support them in
linking to needed services and help reduce the likelihood of
future crisis events.
Maricopa Consumer Advocates and Providers
(MCAP)
The Crisis Response Network, Inc. is a member of MCAP and
participates in the MCAP Crisis Subcommittee. The Subcommittee
is comprised of service providers committed to ensuring that
individuals have easy access to a full array of behavioral
health services including crisis care and that individuals
receive the right service at the right time.
Local Police Departments
The Crisis Response Network, Inc. participates in the Crisis
Intervention Training (CIT) for police officers. The goal of the
training is to educate police officers to effectively work with
individuals with mental health and/ or substance abuse disorders
and their families.
Staff members from the Crisis Response Network, Inc. also meet
monthly with representatives from the Phoenix Police Department
to foster the network’s ability to respond to police requests
for crisis intervention for individuals or families who are
experiencing a distressing situation that has involved police
intervention.
