CRN Creates Crisis Lines for Firefighters and Police 2011-10-11

Fire Crisis Support Line: 602-845-FIRE (3473) ? An independent, confidential fire support crisis line for fire personnel and their families.

Bullet Proof: Law Enforcement Crisis Support Line: 602-433-COPS (2677) ? An independent, confidential law enforcement support crisis line for police servicemen and women and their families.

In cooperation with the 100 Club of Arizona, Crisis Response Network (CRN) is now providing crisis support for

firefighters, law enforcement officers and family members from any jurisdiction within Maricopa County.

The 100 Club provides immediate financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty, and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare.

In response to growing concern about several suicides and suicide attempts by Phoenix-area firefighters, leadership of the 100 Club and CRN collaborated to create dedicated crisis hotlines that are available 24/7/365 for both fire and police personnel.

The fully confidential telephone lines are staffed by specialists who are trained in the specific issues that can affect our public servants in police and fire departments.
